As part of AEEI  operations towards youth empowerment and development in  Nigeria and Africa at larger, the 2016 Business and Economic Conferences was hosted on the 3rd & 4th September, 2016 at the Moat Hall, Motel Benin Plaza, Reservation Road, GRA, Benin City, Edo State. The Conference featured  the Ratification of Members in the South-South Zone of Nigeria, this occasion also featured the presentation of  ID cards and  Membership Certificates. The event  was well attended by dignitaries ; Prince Kerry Emokpaire , the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce & Industry, Edo State, Dr. Vasco Abudu Representative of Global Entrepreneurship Institute (GEI) South Africa, Heads of various Government Parastatals, Academia and High profile Nigerians.

The Conference was geared towards Capacity Building, Training and Empowerment Programmes for youths in the society in order to reduce the menace of unemployment via job creation. Today AEEI is proud of producing economic generals out of recruits, CEO’s out of loafers and creative entrepreneurs out of dunces.

Though, more work needs to be done through partnership and sponsorship in order to make the society a safe-haven.
